The three Followill siblings acted like an adult in Oklahoma with their father, Ivan Leon Followill, an United Pentecostal Church evangelist, and their mother, Betty-Ann. Caleb and Jared were both born in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and revisited Mount Juliet High School, while Nathan and Matthew were born and brought up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Consistent with Rolling Stone magazine, "While Ivan lectured at temples and tent restorations all through Oklahoma and the Deep South, the young men went to utilities and were at times enrolled to slam into some drums"
The band's fifth collection, called Come Around Sundown, was discharged
on October 18, 2010 in the UK, and October 19, 2010 in the U.S. It was
recorded in Nashville and New York between February and June 2010 with
Jacquire King and Angelo Petraglia again at the rudder. Taking after the
discharge of Come Around Sundown in Australia, the band discharged
every last one of the the tracks from the new collection on their
website.
