Roderick David "Rod" Stewart, CBE (pictured January 1945) is a British virtuoso-songwriter, born and collected up North London, England, and beginning now living in Epping. He is of Scottish and English parentage. With his distinctive barbarous singing voice, Stewart came to conspicuousness in the late 1960s and early 1970s with The Jeff Beck Group and consequently Faces. He started his display lifework in 1969 with his presentation assembling An Old Raincoat Won't Ever Let You Down (US: The Rod Stewart Album). His work with The Jeff Beck Group and Faces influenced checked metal classes.
Stewart has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best publicizing virtuosos of untouched. Rod Stewart will perform at The O2 on June 2013 as part of their biggest arena tour to date.
