Micky Flanagan Introduction

Michael "Micky" Flanagan was born 1963.He is an English humorist. Flanagan has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and toured Britain with stand-up shows. He exhibited Micky Flanagan: What Chance Change? for Radio 4 and has showed up on different TV shows incorporating Mock the Week, A League of Their Own, 8 out of 10 Cats and Michael Mcintyre's Comedy Roadshow. He discharged his presentation DVD in November 2011.
Flanagan was conceived in Whitechapel, East London and acted like an adult on a gathering home in Bethnal Green. He left school at the age of 15 with no capabilities. His first employment was as a fish watchman at Billingsgate Fish Market, after which he existed in New York for a year where he functioned as a dishwasher and gourmet specialist. In the wake of coming back to London he functioned as a furniture creator for some years.Flanagan continued instruction at the age of 25, starting with a Gcse in English and going onto an establishment course in crafts and social sciences and a degree at City University, which he started matured 29.He went onto prepare as an educator by taking the Postgraduate Certificate in Education,however chose not to seek after educating as a vocation, later portraying the encounter as "the unhappiest year of my existence ... everything that was wrong about the school framework when I was youthful was still the same".
Flanagan turned into an expert comic in 1997 in the wake of going to a comic drama course at Jacksons Lane in 1996. In 2001 he performed in the Big Value Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Fringe as one of four feature acts,and in 2003 co-featured a show with Nina Conti.He performed his first full-length solo show, What Chance Change? in 2006,and in 2007 was selected for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.He is touring Britain with The Out Tour in 2010/2011.
