A new double-disc movie collection collecting together show movie and marketing movie segments from Peter Gabriel is planned to be launched on Sept 17. Reside in Athens 1987 will feature one disk containing activities by the impressive musician that took place in the Ancient capital at the end of his trip in support of his traditional record So, and a second providing 23 movie segments that period his entire single career.
Live in Athens 1987 will be available as a two-DVD set, a Blu-ray/DVD package and a digital obtain. The remastered show movie is an extended edition of a DVD initially included as part of last seasons luxurious Twenty fifth birthday edition of So, with added movie of Gabriele's starting act, Senegalese singer/songwriter Youssou N'Dour. Among the unforgettable music Gabriel conducted at the show are "Shock the Goof," "Games Without Frontiers," "Don't Give Up," "Solsbury Mountain," "Sledgehammer," "In Your Eyes" and "Biko."
