New Music for Movie 'Words With Gods'

Peter Gabriel hasn't released a new album of original material in over a decade, but he's managed to keep busy with other projects. The art-rocker will contribute an original song and an original score to Words With Gods, an anthology of nine short films centered on religion and spirituality and set for release next year. The films include contributions from an eclectic cast of directors, including Mira Nair, Guillermo Arriaga and Hideo Nakata.
The film's producer, Lucas Akoskin, recently discussed Gabriel's involvement with the Hollywood Reporter. The soundtrack will reportedly accompany a series of hand-drawn animations, as opposed to the films themselves. The original Gabriel track, Akoskin said, will close out the film itself "as a final message."
Gabriel has plenty of experience with film music: in 1989, he contributed the Grammy-winning score for Martin Scorsese's controversial The Last Temptation of Christ; his most recent score was for Phillip Noyce's 2002 drama Rabbit-Proof Fence. He also contributed an original track, "Down to Earth," to the 2008 Pixar smash Wall-E.
In 2011, Gabriel released New Blood, which featured orchestral versions of his own songs. Most recently, he's been touring behind the 25th reissue of his 1986 classic So. As always, Gabriel's schedule is unpredictable: in a 2012 interview with Rolling Stone, he vowed to take a "sabbatical year" to travel with his family. You can get the Music tickets at premier league platform or can call 020 7283 4040.
